Loving your ‘Wild Self’ Retreat
Retreat Schedule
-
Aim to arrive between 9:30 and 10am to give yourself time to settle into the Land.
-
2-hr group Forest Therapy session guided by Jess on beautiful wooded trails. This session will invite participants to begin to awaken their senses, explore their own inner Landscape, and ground into the Land. Opportunities for solo time in the Forest, group sharing and partnered activities will be offered. We will end the session by sharing tea that was grown here on the Land.
-
During this time, participants are free to enjoy the packed lunch they brought from home. Participants are invited to socialize or take time to themselves on the Land. A variety of teas will be available during the Lunch break.
-
A group session where participants will be invited to explore a variety of Chi for Two® moves in a supported setting. The session will include two 15-minute breaks, and participants are invited to honor their body’s need for movement, bathroom breaks, etc throughout the session. The session will be held outdoors, if weather allows.
-
After a final Sharing time to integrate all that has emerged during our time together on the Land, we will say our goodbyes at 4pm.
What to Expect
At this one-day retreat, Jess Boyd, an ANFT-certified Forest Therapy Guide and Chi for Two®Embodiment Coach, will weave together Forest Therapy invitations and Somatic Coaching practices to invite you into deeper—and perhaps entirely new—ways of connecting with your Wild Self, the Land, and one another.
Through gentle, body-based experiences, time in relationship with the more-than-human world, and opportunities for connection with others, you’ll be invited to slow down and notice what wants to emerge when you are supported to be more fully you.
